KACST, MODON sign pact for incubator program

RIYADH: The King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) signed an agreement on Wednesday to exchange knowledge and experience under the Saudi incubator program to help young entrepreneurs.
The agreement was signed by MODON Director General Saleh Al-Rasheed and Nawaf bin Sahaf, executive director of BADIR, which manages the incubators program.
KACST President Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed Al-Saud was also present at the signing ceremony. The agreement aims to identify areas of cooperation between the two sides and implement them to help young entrepreneurs.
BADIR is a technology incubator program launched by KACST in 2007. “BADIR” means “to initiate” and is a national program aimed at accelerating the growth of emerging technology based businesses in the Kingdom.
